This is a great appetizer recipe when you're in a pinch for time. Great taste and very simple. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese
  • 4 Tbs. your favorite salsa
  • 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 C. chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 4-oz. pkg. Monterey Jack/ Colby cheese

Directions

Mix cream cheese, salsa and chili seasoning mix together in med. size bowl, mix well. Shape into log and top with cheese and/or nuts. Chill until firm 30-45 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers and veggies.
