Serving Size / Yield
- 2 boxes of cornbread mix
- 2 eggs
- ¼ C. milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 C. creamed corn
- 1 - 4-oz. can of green chili peppers, drained and rinsed
In a mixing bowl, stir together the cornbread mix, eggs and milk. Add the remaining ingredients and stir.
Pour batter into a greased cast iron skillet and bake for 15-20 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the middle, it should come out clean when the cornbread is finished.
