Ingredients

  • 2 large artichokes
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wash the artichokes. Slice off the stem with a clean cut and trim the leaf tips.
For the filling, get a bowl and combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley. Mix and add salt and pepper to taste.
In a sauce dish, whisk lemon juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt together. Thoroughly coat the prepped artichokes with the mixture, then stuff the space between each leaf with the breadcrumb and cheese filling.
Bake for 1 hour, until golden brown. Serve!
