Cheesy Garlic Potatoes

This is a favorite in my house and anyone that I have made it for loves it and wants the recipe.

  • 10 lb. potatoes, peeled
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • minced garlic, to taste
  • seasoning salt (i.e. Lawry's) to taste
  • shredded cheese to taste

Peel, boil and mash potatoes. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, butter and garlic with mashed potatoes (add as much garlic as you like, I usually taste after adding). Put into a 9x13-inch pan (or any baking dish) and sprinkle with seasoning salt and shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted( usually around 25-30 minutes).
