  • 1 onion, diced
  • 8 oz. pasta
  • 2 C. chicken broth
  • 1 C. half-and-half
  • 1 lb. cooked ham, cubed
  • 1 C. peas
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until translucent. Add in chicken broth, half-and-half, and pasta. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes until pasta is tender. Transfer mixture into a greased baking dish, stir in ham, peas, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and top with cheddar cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
