Cheesy Mozzarella Sticks

- 1 ½ C. seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 C. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) block of mozzarella cheese
- ½ C. all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- ½ C. marinara sauce
Cut block of cheese into 8 even sticks. Place 3 bowls in a line. Put flour in one bowl, the egg in the second and bread crumbs in the third. Place a stick of mozzarella in the flour, shaking off excess flour. Then, dip in the egg wash. After that, coat the stick in breadcrumbs. Repeat for each of the 8 sticks twice.
Place in the freezer for 20 minutes to chill. Heat 2-3 inches of oil in a deep fryer or small sauce pan. Fry each stick for 1-2 minutes turning once until golden brown. Serve with marinara sauce on the side.
