We have a classic Shepherd's pie that comes with a twist! Instead of beef, we added pork instead for a leaner option.

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 pkg. au gratin potato mix
  • 1 large bag cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can green peas, drained

Preheat oven at 400 degrees F. Brown meat and season to taste. While meat cooks, prepare potatoes on stove top according to package directions. Drain meat and pour into small glass baking dish. Sprinkle on a little cheddar cheese, then a layer of green peas, and a little more cheese. Finally add potatoes, making sure it covers everything. Add another layer of shredded cheese. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
