Cheesy Spanish Rice

Instead of going to the grocery store and buying already seasoned Spanish rice try making it. It tastes so much better then the pre-made stuff.

  • 3 C. instant rice
  • 1 large jar of salsa
  • 1 8-oz. bag of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 Tbs. butter

Prepare instant rice as instructed on box. Combine cooked rice with the salsa and cheese. Spoon mixture into a baking pan and spread evenly.  Place 4 or 5 pats of butter or margarine around the top of the rice mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and enjoy.
