  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 C. cooked steak, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1 ¼ C. milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4-6 potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ½ C. cheddar cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until softened. Transfer to a bowl and add in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper; whisk until well combined. In a greased baking dish, layer steak and potatoes, and pour cream mixture evenly on top. Sprinkle on cheddar cheese and bake for 1 hour until golden and bubbly.
