Cheesy Tamale Sausage Casserole

Ingredients
- two 14 1/2-oz. cans tamales
- one 20-oz. can yellow hominy, drained
- one 4 or 5-oz. can Vienna sausages, cut into thirds
- one 10 1/2-oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
Remove wrappers from the first can of tamales, and cut tamales into thirds. Combine the cut tamales, hominy, sausages, and soup. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Remove wrappers from second can of tamales and cut tamales diagonally in half. Garnish top of casserole with cut tamales. Sprinkle cheese on top. Return to oven to melt cheese and heat top tamales.
