Chicago is known for it's pizza, especially for deep dish. Even if you don't live there, you can still bring the taste of Chicago home with this recipe! Load it with your favorite pizza toppings and pretend that you're dining out in the city!

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • 10-12 slices pepperoni
  • 9-12 oz. Italian sausage, cooked
  • 1/2 bag Monterrey Jack cheese with jalapeno pepper, shredded
  • 1/2 bag mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 bag fresh spinach
  • 1 can black olives, sliced

Grease your crockpot generously. Put the dough in the bottom of the crockpot and press it down and up the sides as evenly as possible. Add 1/2 jar sauce, leaving a border of dough, then your pepperoni and sausage. Add the shredded Monterrey Jack cheese. Top with the spinach and mozzarella cheese. Next add in the olives, more cheese, and more sauce, to your preference. Cook on high for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, checking frequently after the 2 hour mark. Remove from the crockpot with two spatulas, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice.
