Although made with a cream sauce, this chicken dish with mushrooms and rice is surprisingly low in fat.

Put all ingredients into an electric slow cooker; mix. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, or until thoroughly heated; stir once. Serve over 1/2 C. hot rice.

  • I think the ingredients sound good. Liquid wise I would halve the milk or omit altogether. If the chicken is fresh, why wouldn't it cook in 3 hours? Sounds yummy to me.

  • Recipe says to add all ingredients, but then says to serve over 1/2 c. hot rice. Is the rice added with other ingredients, or used separately?

  • This does not sound like enough time to cook the chicken. I wonder if it should have read cooked chicken breast instead.
