Chicken and Broccoli with Garlic Sauce

This lightly sauced dish has a lot of flavor without being a heavy dish.

  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/4 lb.)
  • 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli florets; thawed
  • 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix
  • 1 C. of water
  • 3 Tbs. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

In a 12 inch non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken. Remove chicken and set aside. In same skillet, add broccoli and soup mix blended with water, orange juice, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat. Return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked noodles or rice.
