Chicken and Rice Casserole

This is the recipe That I made with Perdue Perfect portions.

Ingredients

  • 1 10-3/4-oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/3 C. water
  • 3/4 C. long-grain white rice {uncooked}
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 C. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts (Perdue Perfect Portions)
  • 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Stir the soup, water, rice, onion powder, black pepper, and vegetables in a 11 x 8-inch {2-quart} shallow baking dish. Top with chicken. Season as desired. Covered Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until chicken is done and rice is tender Let stand for 10 minutes. Stir rice before serving.
