Chicken and Stuffing in the Crockpot

A sage stuffing compliments the slow-cooked chicken. In the south, they call this chicken and dressing.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, cooked and deboned
  • 2 C. cornbread crumbs
  • 1 C. white bread crumbs
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 stick melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbs. sage
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 3 C. chicken broth

Directions

Mix together well and cook on high 4 hours in the crock pot.
