Chicken Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 1/8 C. sugar
- 2 oz. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, divided
- 1 pint water
- 1 tsp. pepper
- Dash roast meat seasoning
- 1/2 oz. Worcestershire
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
- Garlic salt
- Paprika for color
Directions
Combine all ingredients. Baste often with sauce while turning on the grill. Sprinkle 3-4 times with salt. My Uncle could tell the doneness of the chicken just by twisting the leg. Another method would be to cook until the juices are clear.
