Chicken Breasts with Bacon

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halves
  • Salt
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large bunch green onions, chopped
  • 12 slices bacon
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Lightly salt chicken breasts. Cream together the cheese and chopped onion. Form into 6 walnut-sized balls. Wrap a chicken breast around each one and 2 slices of bacon around that. Secure each little bundle with a toothpick or two. Broil on a rack with a drip pan beneath about 8 inches from the heat. Turn occassionally. Broil 20-30 minutes or until bacon is well done.
