Chicken Cacciatore & Pasta

This delicious Italian dish is a meal by itself. Add marinated chicken with fresh seasoning and vegetables to your pasta and enjoy.

  • 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves or 8 boneless chicken thighs, skin removed
  • 1 3/4 C. Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 can (14 oz.) whole peeled tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 small green pepper, cut into 2" long strips
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 2 1/2 C. uncooked medium shell pasta

Heat oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned. Add broth, oregano, garlic powder, tomatoes, pepper and onion. Heat to a boil. Stir in pasta. Cover and cook over low heat 15 min. or until done.
