  • 1 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, chopped
  • 2 C. chopped carrots
  • 2 cans cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 C. water
  • 1 tsp. ground thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 C. biscuit baking mix
  • 2/3 C. milk
  • 6 C. chicken broth

Combine the chicken, carrots, and celery in a slow cooker. Mix the soup, water, thyme, and pepper in another bowl. Pour over the chicken and veggies. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Combine the baking mix and milk in a bowl and drop the batter onto the chicken mixture. Increase the heat to high and cook for 30 minutes until the dumplings are cooked. Pour the broth on top and heat through before serving.
