Ingredients

  • 6 C. French bread, cubed into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 C. chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 2 C. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/2 C. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 C. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 10 eggs
  • 2 C. milk
  • 1/4 C. Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 C. chicken broth
  • 1/2 C. green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

Place bread in a greased 9x13 inch pan.  Layer chicken, mushrooms, and cheeses.  Whisk together egg, milk, mustard, and chicken broth.  Add green onion and pepper.  Pour over layered chicken mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Uncover and bake for 50-60 minutes or until set in center.
