Chicken & Hashbrown Bake

This creamy casserole is easy to prepare and sure to be a hit with the family.

Ingredients

  • 1 2 lb. pkg. frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 C. cooked diced chicken
  • 1/2 C. sliced sautéed mushrooms
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 2 C. chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • dash of paprika
  • 1/4 C. sliced almonds

Directions

Thaw hashbrowns and layer in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Arrange chicken & mushrooms on hashbrowns. Combine soup, broth, sour cream, onion and garlic; pour over all. Sprinkle with paprika and almonds. Bake uncovered at 350 F until heated through, about 45 minutes.
