Ginger, honey and orange juice make this chicken dish full of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 C. orange juice
  • 3 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1/2 C. hot water
  • 3 Tbs. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Directions

In a skillet, brown chicken breasts in 1 Tbs. oil over medium heat. Continue cooking until juices run clear. Add orange juice to skillet. When orange juice just begins to bubble around the edges of the pan, add corn starch dissolved in hot water. Combine ginger and honey in small cup; add to orange juice mixture in skillet. Cook until sauce is thick and slightly browned. Serve over cooked white rice.

  • When ever I add cornstarch to a warm or even hot liquid, it tends to clump. I would use a liquid that is cool or room temperature. Other than that this recipe sounds good.
