Chicken Liver Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 1 lb. chicken livers
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 C. tomato puree
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 C. grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, washed and peeled
- 1/4 lb. butter
Directions
Cook pasta in boiling water until tender, then drain. Heat oil in large frying pan, add onion and brown until golden. Add tomato puree, salt and pepper. Add cheese, and blend together. Add pasta and keep over low heat. Stir it constantly as it heats. Saute mushrooms and livers in butter. Put spaghetti mixture on a serving dish. Pour mushrooms and chicken livers over it.
