Chicken & Macaroni Casserole

The perfect combination of family favorites, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C. butter
  • 3/4 C. hot milk
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 C. diced cooked chicken
  • 3 Tbs. grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 C. cooked macaroni
  • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • 2 Tbs. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbs. chopped pimento salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 C. dry bread crumbs.

Directions

Melt butter in milk, cool. Pour over beaten eggs; add remaining ingredients except bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle bread crumbs over top, bake at 350 degrees 30 to 40 minutes, until firm. Serve hot.

Serves 6.
