Chicken Noodle Casserole

Rich, hearty and a real winner at banquets and potlucks. It's even low fat, but you'd never know it!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. "No Yolk" medium noodles
  • 1 9.75-oz. can Premium White Chicken 98% Fat Free
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup (low fat or healthy choice)
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Celery soup (low fat or healthy choice)
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. lowfat cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 box chicken stovetop stuffing (low sodium)
  • 1 C. fat free sour cream
  • 1 C. low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/2 C. green pepper (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Cook and drain noodles. Place noodles into bowl and mix in everything except the stuffing. Spray cake pan with cooking spray. Spread mixture into cake pan. Make the stuffing in a separate container (do not cook). Crumble stuffing mix on top of casserole. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and brown for 5-10 minutes.

  • I changed it a bit and loved it.
    no sour cream (I didn't have any) about 1/2 cup of mayo, instead of stuffing I used progresso breadcrumbs with parm. cheese.
    put it in a casserole dish serves about 5-7 people NOT 10-15

  • I agree with Shielah--I happen to know that Creamette makes No Yolk noodles--and in only one size.
    This could be a dynamite site, but, sadly, the editing needs to be much better--getting the correct amounts of ingredients is sooooooooooo important and having the method clearly stated is also important!
    Please make it so!
