  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 C. bread crumbs
  • 1/3 C. Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • ½ C. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. penne pasta, cooked and drained

In a bowl, beat egg. In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Dip each chicken breast into egg and then coat evenly with bread crumb mixture. Place chicken into your greased crockpot. Top with pasta sauce, cover, and cook on low for 6 hours. Serve chicken over penne with mozzarella.
