Chicken Tarragon
Ingredients
- 1/3 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 4 tsp. butter
- 2 large chicken breast halves
- 1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning
- 1/3 C. dry white wine
- 1/3 C. dairy sour cream
- 3 Tbs. chopped green onions
Directions
Slice mushrooms and sauté in 1 Tbs. butter until golden. Remove mushrooms and reserve. Add remaining butter to pan and brown chicken. Sprinkle with Beau Monde during browning. Add mushrooms, sprinkle with tarragon. Pour wine over chicken. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes until tender. Remove chicken to platter and spoon sour cream into pan juices and heat, but do not boil. Pour sour cream mixture over chicken and sprinkle with green onions.
