Chicken with Capers

This is delicious served over fettuccine noodles!

  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 C. dry white wine
  • 2 Tbs. margarine
  • 2 Tbs. capers, drained

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease baking dish.  Combine flour with paprika, pepper, and garlic powder in a plastic bag.  Shake chicken in flour mixture to coat evenly.  Arrange chicken in a greased baking dish and pour wine over the top.  Dot with margarine and sprinkle with capers. Cover with foil.  Bake 20 minutes, then reduce heat from 325 degrees and bake until chicken is cooked thoroughly, about 50 minutes.
