Chile-Glazed Shrimp
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. dark sesame oil
- 1 tsp. bottled minced garlic
- 1 1/2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 C. thinly sliced green onions
- 1 Tbs. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbs. honey
- 1 tsp. sambal oelek (ground fresh chile paste)
Directions
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil to the skillet. Add the garlic and shrimp and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add the onions, soy sauce, honey and sambal oelek; stir-fry 3 minutes or until the shrimp are done. From Cooking Light magazine, June 2004.
