Chilled Italian Mostaccioli Salad

A great picnic or party dish, this salad is so easy to make!

  • 2 16-oz. boxes Mostaccioli pasta
  • 2 cucumbers, chopped finely
  • 1 pkg. cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 C. purple onions, chopped
  • 1/2 C. green bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 C. red bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 16-oz. bottles Kraft French Dressing
  • 2 C. granulated sugar
  • 2 C. wine vinegar
  • dashes of salt, pepper, garlic, fresh parsley

Cook pasta; drain and rinse in cold water. Combine all ingredients; toss and keep in large bowl. Place in refrigerator to chill (at least 45 minutes).

  • Two cups of sugar? That seems like an awful lot of unnecessary sweetness. The dressing is already sweet enough.
