A tasty Chinese cole slaw for a summer picnic. Everybody loves this recipe, it goes quickly!

  • 3 pkg. beef ramen noodles
  • 1 1/2 pkg. coleslaw
  • 1 C. sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 C. white vinegar
  • 1 C. toasted almonds
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • 1 1/2 C. oil

Mix dry flavored packs from noodles with oil, vinegar and sugar. Refrigerate overnight. Mix rest of ingredients, add the dressing and toss; add ramen noodles and toss again.

  • This was sooo good and yet easy and foolproof. Great at a BBQ, and hearty enough for a light summer lunch. I'll probably never be happy with plain cole slaw again -- thanks for posting this recipe!
