Use your favorite chocolate bar to create this wonderful mousse. Better yet, place it in jars to enjoy the dessert all week long!

  • 1 C. chocolate bar, cut in small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 C. heavy cream
  • 2 C. whipped topping
  • Jars

In a large bowl, mix chocolate and vanilla. Heat 1/2 C. cream in small saucepan to a simmer. Pour cream over chocolate. Whisk until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes until cool. Beat remaining cream with electric mixture and then add chocolate mixture. Mix well until smooth. Layer mixture with whipped cream in jars. Chill overnight in fridge. If desired, garnish with berries before serving.
