  • 2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbs. orange zest
  • 1/4 C. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 C. orange juice
  • 3/4 C. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 C. dried cranberries
  • 3/4 C. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. all-purpose flour

  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees.

  2. Whisk together the 2 cups of all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and set aside.

  3. In aother bowl, combine the orange zest, melted butter, vanilla, orange juice, sour cream, and eggs, and set aside.

  4. In a third bowl, combine the dried cranberries and chocolate chips with the 1 1/2 tablespoons of all purpose flour. Toss the cranberries and chocolate chips until they are well coated with the flour.

  5. In the bowl with the dry ingredients, form a hole in the center, and then pour the wet ingredients into the the dry ingredients. Stir until moistened.

  6. Add the cranberry-chocolate chip mixture, and stir until combined.

  7. Scoop batter into lined muffin tins. Bake until the tops are golden brown,  18 to 20 minutes.
