This is a fun holiday recipe for the whole family and it is easy and tastes delicious. Santa will especially love them when he finds them waiting for him on Christmas Eve!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 C. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 C. (12-oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
  • 1 C. red and green chocolate candies
  • 1 small bag pretzels

Directions

Preheat oven to 375° F.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; decorate with chocolate candies for reindeer eyes and nose and add pretzels for reindeer ears. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
