Can you imagine how cute this would look for a wedding? These little sharp tuxedo dressing strawberries will be a big hit.

20 strawberries


  • 20 fresh strawberries with stems
  • 1 C. white chocolate chips
  • 3 1/2 tsp. shortening, divided.
  • 1 1/3 C. semisweet chocolate chips

Line a tray or baking sheet with waxed paper. Set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, melt white chips and 1 1/2 tsp. shortening. Take out and stir until smooth. Dip each strawberry until two-thirds is coated. Allow excess to drip off. Place on prepared tray and chill for 30 minutes or until set.

Melt chocolate chips and remaining shortening. To form the tuxedo jacket, dip each side of berry into chocolate while leaving a white V-shape in the center. Set remaining chocolate aside. Chill berries for 30 minutes or until set.

Remelt saved chocolate if necessary. Use a round tip to pipe a bow tie on top of white V and then three vertical buttons. Chill strawberries for 30 more minutes before serving.
