  • 3 C. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 Tbs. instant coffee powder
  • 4 tsp. boiling water
  • 2 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. butter, softened
  • 1 C. white sugar
  • 1 C. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 C. sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt chocolate chips over hot water and stir until smooth. In a cup, mix coffee powder with boiling water. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Combine sugars, butter and coffee into large bowl. Beat until creamy. Add egg and melted chocolate. Mix. Slowly add flour mixture. Mix well until thick. Place dough balls on non-stick cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. When done, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
