  • 2 eggs
  • 6 plums, halved
  • 3 T. powdered sugar
  • ½ C. chocolate chips
  • 40 g. unsalted butter
  • 50 g. wheat semolina
  • 700 g. white potatoes
  • 5 oz. flour
  • 2½ oz. granulated sugar
  • 6 oz. breadcrumbs
  • Salt

Halve the plums and cover them with the powdered sugar. Boil the potatoes with a dash of salt. Meanwhile, in a frying pan melt the butter and add in the breadcrumbs. Remove from heat once browned. Add in the granulated sugar and mix well. The potatoes should be done. Peel the potatoes and shred them. Add in the eggs, salt, flour and wheat semolina. Get a pot ready full of water. Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Place half of a plum into the one half of the dough and cover with the other half of the dough. Repeat the process. Once the water is at a boil, add all of the dumplings into the water. Remove from water once they rise. Melt the chocolate in a bowl. Dip the dumplings into the chocolate. Serve and enjoy.
