Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 C. butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • cinnamon sugar (3 Tbs. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon)

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl.

  2. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add eggs and vanilla.

  4. Add dry ingredients. Mix until combined.

  5. Roll dough into balls.

  6. Place the balls onto two parchment lined baking sheets.

  7. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
