Chocolate Strawberry Shortcake Glasses

- 1 prepared chocolate cake made in a 13-by-9-inch pan
- 1 jar strawberry jam
- 2 (3-oz.) boxes chocolate pudding
- 2 C. heavy cream
- 3 Tbs. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 C. strawberries, sliced
Cut cake into 1/2-inch squares. Dip in strawberry jam. Follow package directions to prepare pudding. Let pudding cool in fridge before assembling dessert glasses. Beat cream in bowl. Slowly add sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
To prepare dessert, layer chocolate cake squares with pudding and whipped cream. Top with sliced strawberries and if you desire, other fruits like cherries. Chill overnight and serve the next day.
