Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients
- 1/2 C. cocoa
- 1 l/2 C. water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 C. sugar
- 2 qts. milk, scalded beforehand
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Mix cocoa, water, salt and sugar thoroughly and bring to the boiling point. Simmer 5 minutes. Add scalded milk and vanilla. Beat with rotary egg beater. Serve hot. Top with whipped cream.
