This is a yummy recipe for chocolate syrup that is easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. cocoa
  • 1 l/2 C. water
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 C. sugar
  • 2 qts. milk, scalded beforehand
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Mix cocoa, water, salt and sugar thoroughly and bring to the boiling point. Simmer 5 minutes. Add scalded milk and vanilla. Beat with rotary egg beater. Serve hot. Top with whipped cream.
