Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/3 C. chocolate frosting
  • 24 oz. white or chocolate candy coating
  • sprinkles for decorating
  • 40 lollipop sticks

Prepare the cake according to package directions. Once it has cooled completely, transfer to a large bowl and break into a fine crumble. Add frosting and thoroughly combine. Form 40 one-inch balls with the mixture and place on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for one hour. Place the candy coating in a microwavable bowl and melt according to package directions. Place a lollipop stick into each ball and dip into the melted candy coating. Immediately add sprinkles before coating dries. Insert into a styrofoam block or return to baking sheet to harden. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
