Chrain (Slovak Beet Relish)

The horseradish really makes this pop. My mother used to make this every Easter; goes well with ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. whole or sliced beets, cooked
  • 1/2 jar ground horseradish (approx. 2 oz.)
  • 1 clean jar with lid

Directions

Cook beets. Put beets and horseradish in blender and process until the beets are grounded well. Put into the clean jar and refrigerate for a week.
