Chunky Jambalaya

This is a great recipe from down south, because it'll be ready in under a half an hour – plus it's inexpensive!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz. can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 box Zatarans Jambalaya Mix
  • 1/2 smoked sausage, cut into slices
  • 1/2 lb. steamed or raw shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 2 C. water

Directions

Bring tomatoes to a boil add in Jambalaya Mix, and water continue to boil over med heat for 15 minutes, then add shrimp and sausage. Stir cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes until rice is tender and fluffy. No extra seasoning necessary.
