  • Dough:
  • 1 C. warm milk (110 F)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • ⅓ C. Margarine (melted)
  • 4 ½ C. bread flour
  • 2 ½ yeast
  • ½ C. white sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Filling:
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar
  • 2 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅓ butter, softened
  • Glaze:
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 C. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 to 6 tbsp hot water

In a small bowl,stir yeast to warm milk. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix eggs, margarine, salt, sugar, and flour. Add yeast mixture and stir.
After mixture starts to form, begin to knead. Knead dough on lightly floured surface for 5 to 10 minutes. Place in well-greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in size, usually 1 hour.

After the dough sets it should have doubled in size. Then, punch down dough. Next, roll out on a floured surface into a 15 by 9-inch rectangle. Spread melted butter all over dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Begin to sprinkle over buttered dough. Beginning at the 15-inch side, role up dough and pinch edge. Cut into 12 pieces.

Lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan and cover. Let for 45 minutes or until dough has risen double its size.
Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

After rolls are cooked, remove from oven and let cool.

Mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add hot water 1 tbsp at a time until glaze reaches desired consistency.
Spread over cooled rolls.
