Everyone loves a good apple pie, but what's even better is a cinnamon apple crumble cake! These personal cinnamon apple minis are great anytime, no need to wait for Thanksgiving!

  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large apples (Gala or McIntosh), peeled, cored and cubed
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Pour butter over the dry ingredients and mix together, breaking any big chunks. Set to the side. In a separate bowl, combine the apples with the rest of the sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Divide among 4-5 small oven-safe ramekins. Top with the crumbles and bake for 30-35 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
