Cinnamon Apple Salad
Ingredients
- ¼ C. (about 9) cinnamon candy balls
- ½ C. boiling water
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry gelatin
- 1 C. hot water
- 1 C. diced celery
- 1 C. diced apples
- ½ C. nuts, chopped
Directions
Dissolve cinnamon candies in boiling water; stir if necessary. When cinnamon candy is dissolved, completely fill C. with water to make 1 C. Mix in gelatin along with remaining cup hot water. Let set until it just begins to thicken. Fold in celery, apples and nuts. Pour into a 5 C. salad mold or a 9 inch square dish. Chill.
Yield: 10 servings.
