Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup champagne
  • 1/2 Tbs. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Tbs. orange extract
  • 1/2 Tbs. cinnamon

Directions

In a saucepan, cook the cream, sugar, corn syrup, and eggs until they've thickened. This should take about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool completely. 

Once cooled, add the remaining cream, the champagne, and the vanilla. Use an ice cream maker to freeze. Alternatively, you can freeze in a large bowl, but you will have to stir it every 10 minutes until it has reached the desired consistency.
