This sweet apple pie is anything but plain with the honey and cinnamon mixed with the fruit. Try this apple pie for Thanksgiving or Fall season and be sure to serve it with vanilla ice cream.

  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 3 apples
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Peel the apples and cut the fruit into thin slices. Drizzle the apple slices with the lemon juices in a bowl and then add 1 tablespoon honey and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons brown sugar and mix the bowl well. Place the thawed pie crust into a pie tin and fill with the pie mix. Pour the remaining honey over the pie and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon. Bake for 35 minutes.
