  • 6 apples, peeled and sliced with cores removed
  • 2 T white sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • ¾ C old-fashioned oats
  • ¾ c flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ c butter, chilled

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat apples with white sugar and cinnamon. After the apples are well coated, pour them into a baking pan. Next, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and oats until mixture forms a crumbly coating. Spread the oats and cinnamon over the apples and bake for 40 minutes.
