  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1¾ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, unsalted and melted
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup
  • 1½ lbs peaches
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon sugar
  • Crumb Topping:
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup and 2 tablespoons flour

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a baking pan and set aside. In a medium bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the butter, milk and egg. Stir well and gradually add in the flour mix until mixed evenly. Pour the batter into the pan. Arrange the peach slices on the cake and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top. In a separate bowl, combine the crumb topping ingredients and mix well until small crumbles are left. Sprinkle this crumb topping on top of the cake and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
